GORDON MCIVOR

Gordon McIvor is Vice President, Strategic Acquisitions, Public and Government Affairs for Canada Lands Company CLC Limited. Mr. McIvor acts as the company’s designated media spokesperson and is frequently quoted in newspapers and on radio.

Gordon McIvor has held his current position since 1988 when the company was CN Real Estate. Dr. McIvor has served on numerous boards and committees. He has received many honours throughout his career, including a Papal Knighthood from the Vatican. In 2000, he won the Canadian Public Relations Society ACE award for outstanding contribution to the community. In 1980, he received his Ph.D. cum laude from the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France. In July 2003, he successfully completed a course on financial management at Harvard Business School.
