Based in Toronto, and reporting to the President and CEO, the Chief Financial Officer & Vice President, Administration is responsible for shared services (namely, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) functions) for both operating divisions of the Company (being the Real Estate/Corporate division and the CN Tower division). You will serve as a strategic adviser to the President & CEO, the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team on all Finance, Risk, IT and HR matters.
As an ideal candidate, you possess a university degree, a professional financial accounting designation (CA preferred) along with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience. You will have held a senior role within a property developer, real-estate or construction organization and be highly adept at interpreting the numbers and helping support sound and astute strategic decision making. While you enjoy a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment, you are diligent with process and are able to introduce robust checks and balances to ensure full compliance and integrity of the financial statements. A superior communicator, negotiator and relationship builder, you are an inspirational and collaborative leader who can energize a team to deliver superior financial and operational results. Proficiency in both official languages is considered an asset.
